In order to pass KYC verification and start working with the full range of tools of our exchange, you have to create an account on WhiteBIT.
Please note: The registration process now begins with selecting a country. For residents of the EU and the EEA, a corresponding notification will appear, followed by redirection to a special platform. The procedure also now includes email verification and the option for quick authorization via a link.
The registration process takes only a few minutes. Here is how to follow it.
How to sign up from the website?
- Follow the link https://whitebit.com/auth/register or click “Sign up” in the top right corner of the website.
- Select the country of your legal residence. By confirming, you verify that you are not located in any prohibited or sanctioned regions. A full list of restricted countries is available by hovering over the information icon.
Forbidden countries and territories:
Currently, we do not accept identity documents from citizens or residents of the following countries and territories: Afghanistan, American Samoa, United States Virgin Islands, Territory of Guam, Iran, Libya, State of Palestine, Puerto Rico, Somalia, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Northern Mariana Islands, United Kingdom, United States, Syria, Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, Republic of Sudan, Yemen, Canada, Transnistria, the temporarily occupied territories of Georgia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Western Sahara, the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, Kosovo, South Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Myanmar and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
- Check the boxes agreeing to the User agreement and Privacy policy, confirm your agreement by checking the boxes. Click the "Continue" button.
Please note: registration, verification and use of services are permitted only to persons who have reached the age of 18.
- Choose a registration method. You can register:
- via email. To do this, enter your email address in the appropriate field.
- using Google or Apple credentials. To do this, click on one of the options - "Google" or "Apple" - and connect your account.
Please note: after registration, you will be able to see the masked email in the general account settings, and the full email can be obtained upon request.
At this stage, you can also enter a referral or affiliate code if you have one. A referrer is a user who already has a WhiteBIT account and invited you to the exchange.
Click the "Continue" button.
- Create a strong password and click the "Continue" button.
Please note: A password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase one, 1 number and 1 special character.
- Confirm your email address. Enter the verification code that was sent to the email address you provided during registration. To do this, check your email inbox for a 4-digit confirmation code (the code is valid for 15 minutes). Enter this code in the corresponding field and click “Confirm”, or click the “Confirm and sign in” button, which can be found in the email. By clicking this button, you can immediately log in to your account without entering your credentials again. Done!
Please note: after clicking the “Confirm and sign in” button, authorization is performed in the browser where the button was clicked. For example, if registration was started in Chrome but the confirmation email was opened in Safari, you will be automatically logged in Safari, while remaining logged out in Chrome.
If registration was started on the web version and confirmation was completed on a mobile device, authorization will occur on the mobile device, while the web version will remain unchanged — auto-login will not occur there. If a mobile app is installed on the device, the system will automatically redirect you to the app, where authorization will be performed.
The "Confirm and Login" feature will be available for mobile app versions 3.69.0 and higher. Please ensure you are using the latest version of the app.
Additionally, there is no option of linking your account to a phone number on our exchange (e.g., for additional verification via SMS or phone call).

- Open the “Main” tab and click on the “Sign Up” button.
