Withdrawal using EUR SEPA

SEPA (Single Euro Payment Area) – common EUR payments space; a payment standard used in the European Union and a few other countries that are not part of it. In this space, all EUR payments are made on the same terms both within a particular country and in other European countries that are part of the SEPA space. 

 

In this article you will learn how to withdraw EUR using this payment method.

 

Please note: 

  • Withdrawal is possible only to your own account in a bank that supports SEPA-transfer. In case of bank refusal or specifying incorrect data and return the withdrawal, a fee of 5 EUR will be charged.
  • In order for your transaction to be processed, the identity verification (KYC) must be completed in the standard way via a new provider on our exchange. Please click the "Update Verification" button in the recharge window. Only after passing KYC again, you can withdraw EUR by any of these methods.
  • The period of crediting your bank account depends on your bank  as well as from the possibility of Instant transfer (when using the SEPA Clear Junction method), and can take from 5 minutes to 3 working days. 
  • Since this provider is included in the same group with Visa/Mastercard, Checkout Visa/Mastercard, ZEN, the total daily withdrawal limit in this group is 14 500 EUR. 

 

Important: at the moment withdrawal by this method is available only for citizens and residents of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Ukraine.

To make a EUR withdrawal to IBAN by SEPA-transfer on the website it is necessary:

1. Go to the balances page

In the header of the site, click "Balances" and select "Total" or "Main".

2. Select currency

Find the currency you would like to withdraw in the list, or enter the ticker of the state currency in the search bar, and then click on the "Withdraw" button.


Please note: withdrawal via SEPA to IBAN is only available for EUR.

 

3. Choose a provider

In the opened list of providers select EUR SEPA.

Specify your IBAN, the amount to withdraw and click "Continue". You will be automatically redirected to the payment confirmation page.

4. Confirm the withdrawal

To confirm and create a withdrawal request you need to:

  1. Enter the code specified in the email. This code will be valid for 180 seconds;
  2. Enter the 2FA code from Google Authenticator or an alternative application;

Done! Now you can check your withdrawal in the History section. In the "Main Balance" and "Withdrawals" tab you will be able to see the details of your payment.

To withdraw EUR to IBAN by SEPA-transfer in the mobile application:

1. Go to the Wallet tab

Open the main page of the WhiteBIT app, you can access the withdrawal form via the "Wallet" - "Withdraw" tab.

2. Select currency

Find the currency you would like to withdraw in the list or enter the ticker of the state currency in the search bar and then click on it.

 

Please note: withdrawals via SEPA to IBAN are only available for EUR.

 

3. Choose a provider

In the list of providers select EUR SEPA.

Specify the amount to be withdrawn, your IBAN and click "Continue". You will be automatically redirected to the payment confirmation page.

4. Confirm the withdrawal

To confirm and create a withdrawal request you need to:

  1. Enter the code specified in the email. This code will be valid for 180 seconds;
  2. Enter the 2FA code from Google Authenticator or an alternative application;

Done! Now, to check your withdrawal go to the "Wallet" section of the WhiteBIT app and click on the "History" button.

In the "Main" and "Withdrawals" tab, you will be able to see the details of your payment.


Please note: When making a EUR withdrawal by SEPA for the first time, you need to go through the IBAN account verification procedure. You can learn more about the procedure of creating a bank account statement in the section "How to get a bank account statement?".

It is important that the number of IBAN accounts you can use for such transactions is not limited, however, each new IBAN must be verified using this procedure, as making a SEPA withdrawal to an IBAN account is possible only to your own bank account and not to the accounts of third parties.

In order to verify the IBAN of the account and make further SEPA withdrawals to this IBAN, one of the following documents must be uploaded to the relevant form:

  • a certificate of account ownership from the bank;
  • bank statement.

 

Also, your document must meet several requirements:

  • an up-to-date document (for the current year);
  • signed or stamped by the bank;
  • contains the full IBAN account number and the name of the owner of your payment details.

Withdrawal EUR SEPA Clear Junction

In addition to the standard method of withdrawal to IBAN SEPA, a separate provider for EUR transactions – Clear Junction – is also available on our exchange. The main difference is that SEPA and SEPA Clear Junction methods are supported by different banks. 

 

Clear Junction is a global payment provider through which it is possible to withdraw EUR from our exchange in two ways: SEPA Clear Junction and SEPA Instant Clear Junction. 

 

In order to make a EUR SEPA Clear Junction withdrawal on the website: 

  1. Go to the balances page. 

  1. Find EUR in the list of currencies, or enter EUR ticker in the search bar, and then click on the “Withdraw” button.

  1. In the provider list, select EUR SEPA Clear Junction or EUR SEPA Instant Clear Junction.

Important: the only difference between the above-mentioned withdrawal methods is the speed of transaction processing. The EUR SEPA Instant Clear Junction method allows you to make withdrawals faster at any time. However, you should first make sure that your bank supports Instant transfers. For this purpose, you should contact your bank's support service.  

  1. Enter your IBAN and the amount to withdraw. You can also see the amount directly with the fee
  2. Confirm the withdrawal – enter the code specified in the email (it will be valid for 180 seconds) and 2FA code from Google Authenticator or alternative application. 

Done! You can now check your withdrawal in the History section. 

In order to make a EUR SEPA Clear Junction withdrawal in the application: 

 

  1. Go to the Wallet tab and click Withdraw. 

  1. Search for EUR in the list, or type the EUR ticker symbol in the search bar, and then click on it.

 

  1. Select the provider, EUR SEPA Clear Junction or EUR SEPA Instant Clear Junction.

 

  1. Enter your IBAN and the amount to withdraw. 
  2. Confirm withdrawal – enter the code specified in the email (it will be valid for 180 seconds) and 2FA code from Google Authenticator or alternative application. 

Done! In the “Wallet” – “History” section, you will be able to see the details of your payment in the “Main” – “Withdrawals” tab. 

The withdrawal fee for EUR SEPA Clear Junction and EUR SEPA Instant Clear Junction is the same, and it is shown in the withdrawal window. You can also check this information on the Fees page. 

EUR SEPA FINCI Withdrawal 

Also one of the available EUR withdrawal providers is SEPA FINCI. In this article we will tell you about the main conditions and limits when using this withdrawal method.  

 

In order to make a EUR SEPA FINCI withdrawal on the website: 

  1. Go to the balances page. 

  1. Find EUR in the list of currencies, or enter EUR ticker in the search bar, and then click on the “Withdraw” button.

  1. In the provider list, select EUR SEPA FINCI.

 

  1. Enter your IBAN, SWIFT code (BIC) and the amount to withdraw. You can also see the amount directly with the fee
  2. Confirm the withdrawal – enter the code specified in the email (it will be valid for 180 seconds) and 2FA code from Google Authenticator or alternative application. 

Done! You can now check your withdrawal in the History section. 

 

In order to make a EUR SEPA FINCI withdrawal in the app: 

  1. Go to the Wallet tab and click Withdraw. 

  1. Search for EUR in the list, or type the EUR ticker symbol in the search bar, and then click on it.

 

  1. Select the provider, EUR SEPA Clear Junction or EUR SEPA Instant Clear Junction.

 

  1. Enter your IBAN, SWIFT code (BIC) and the amount to withdraw. 
  2. Confirm withdrawal – enter the code specified in the email (it will be valid for 180 seconds) and 2FA code from Google Authenticator or alternative application. 

Done! In the “Wallet” – “History” section, you will be able to see the details of your payment in the “Main” – “Withdrawals” tab.

How do I get a bank statement?

In this section we will describe in detail the mechanism of bank statement generation, for several, most popular, banks.

 

To get a statement from Monobank: 

  1. Log in to the Monobank mobile application;
  2. Select the required account in the main menu;
  3. Swipe left to go to account settings;
  4. Scroll down to the "Settings" section;
  5. Select the "Send account statement" option;
  6. Select statement language, period and document format (PDF or Excel);
  7. Confirm the statement order;
  8. View, download or send the statement to email, storage or one of the messengers.

 

To receive a statement from Revolut:

  1. Open the Revolut mobile app;
  2. Click the "Home" tab on the bottom panel;
  3. Select the currency of the wallet;
  4. Tap on the 3 horizontal dots and select "Statement";
  5. Click on "Account" and select your account in the desired currency;
  6. Select the date range and statement file format (PDF or Excel);
  7. Click "Create" to open the account history. Click on the export icon in the upper right corner of the screen to download the statement.

 

To receive a statement in Wise:

  1. Log in to the Wise app;
  2. Depending on which statement you need, tap on the appropriate account;
  3. Tap on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner;
  4. Select the type of document you want;
  5. Select the period for which you need the statement;
  6. Select the file format;
  7. You may need to enter your password for your Wise profile or use biometrics to download your statement.

 

To receive a statement from ZEN:

  1. Open the ZEN app and on the home page (far left screen), tap the account for which you need a statement;
  2. Tap on the three dots in the top right corner and select "Statements";
  3. Tap on "Export Statement."
  4. Next, select the month for which you want to create a statement, as well as the file type (you can create a statement in PDF or CSV format);
  5. Usually, in a few seconds, the statement will be ready and you can export it to email, your messenger, or save it to your device.
