How Does Auto-Invest Work?

Once an Auto-Invest plan is set up, it operates seamlessly in the background, executing your investment strategy based on your defined parameters. The funds are deducted from your Trading Balance and automatically invested according to a set schedule. Your newly purchased cryptocurrencies will be added to your Trade Balance on WhiteBIT.

The Auto-Invest interface provides the following options for you:

Dashboard Overview: The main Auto-Invest dashboard gives you a clear snapshot of your activity, including the total amount invested and today’s Profit and Loss (P&L). You’ll also see a summary of your ongoing and historical plans.

Plan Management: Under the “My Plans” section, you can view both active and completed plans. Each active plan displays essential details like the cryptocurrency you’re investing in, the frequency of purchases, the total invested amount, and current market performance.

Performance Tracking: The dashboard includes a “Historical Performance” section that shows the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for various cryptocurrencies. This helps you compare the historical returns of assets and shape your future Auto-Invest decisions.

Plan Adjustment: Active plans are highly flexible. You can pause, edit, or deactivate them at any time. If you decide to stop the plan, it will remain under the “Ongoing Plans” list until you either reactivate it or move it to the deactivated list.

Notifications: During the lifecycle of your Auto-Invest plan, you’ll receive timely updates and notifications. These include reminders for insufficient funds in your Main Balance and confirmations for every successful investment transaction. This ensures you stay informed about every aspect of your plan’s performance.

Advanced Plan Control: For those who have enabled advanced settings, you can monitor how your investments are executed based on the set price limits and iterations. You’ll have control over how many times the plan will repeat and monitor the price limits you’ve set, ensuring the purchases occur within the defined range.

Clear Plan Status: Auto-Invest simplifies understanding the status of your plans. Active plans show ongoing purchases, while paused or deactivated plans are categorized separately, making it easy to manage multiple strategies.

By integrating these elements into the design, Auto-Invest ensures a smooth and intuitive user experience while allowing for flexible management and real-time performance tracking. Whether you would like to change your plan or customize your portfolio growth monitoring, all functions are available within a few clicks. 

Flexible Investment Options

Auto-Invest allows flexibility with two ways to define your investment:

• Amount Size: The value of your investment in stablecoins like USDT.
• Size Quantity: The number of units in the selected cryptocurrency.

Please note: There are no strict minimum or maximum investment limits. However, for smoother transactions, it is recommended that you focus on well-established assets with higher liquidity. If your Main Balance lacks the necessary funds to complete an Auto-Invest transaction, you will receive notifications. The plan will automatically be paused if the funds remain insufficient until the issue is resolved.

How Do I Open an Auto-Invest Plan?

Opening an Auto-Invest plan is straightforward and user-friendly. Follow these steps:

1. Log in to your WhiteBIT account and go to the ‘Auto-Invest’ section. It can be found under the ‘Products’ tab.
   Please note that if you have not completed KYC, you will need to do so to access the Auto-Invest feature.
2. Choose a Cryptocurrency and Set Your Investment Amount: Select the desired cryptocurrency from the supported assets and define the amount you wish to invest in the ‘Give’ section. You can select either a fixed value in USDT (Amount Size) or a specific quantity of the cryptocurrency (Size Quantity).
3. Select a Recurring Cycle: Set up how frequently you want investments to occur - hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly, this allows you to tailor the plan to your preferred strategy.
4. Review and Confirm: Double-check your settings in the summary section. Once satisfied with your selections, click “Create Plan” to finalize your Auto-Invest setup.

Advanced Settings (Optional)

The Auto-Invest plan offers additional advanced settings for users who desire to obtain more control over their investment strategy. Available options include:

• Price Limit: You can set a minimum and maximum price range for your investments. The Auto Invest plan will only initiate purchases when the market price of the cryptocurrency falls within the specified range, ensuring you buy at your preferred price levels.
• Number of Iterations: This defines how many times the investment action will be repeated according to your set schedule. For example, if you choose 100 iterations, Auto-Invest will make 100 purchases according to your selected amount and frequency.
  

Using these advanced settings allows you to tailor your Auto-Invest plan to your specific investment goals, helping you optimize the timing and frequency of your purchases while staying within your preferred price limits.

Please note that after creating the plan, you can manage it under “My Plans” to pause, stop, or adjust your investment schedule anytime. 

Managing and Stopping Auto-Invest

You can easily manage, stop, or deactivate your Auto-Invest plan anytime through the “My Plans” section. If deactivated, your plan will be moved to a separate list, making it easy to review or reactivate later.
