Subaccounts for institutional clients

Subaccounts are additional accounts that connect to the Main Account and allow you to divide assets, strategies, and areas of responsibility without losing centralized control.

For corporate clients, subaccounts provide the ability to delegate access, clearly separate portfolios, and maintain transparency of operations — all within a single platform. Such accounts are particularly useful for professional traders, institutional investors, and companies that require structured account management.

How do subaccounts work for your business?

A subaccount on the WhiteBIT exchange is a full-fledged working tool with a wide range of capabilities. The main advantages of creating crypto subaccounts include the following:

  • Accurate monitoring: sub-accounts on the WhiteBIT exchange function independently, while remaining under the control of the main account. This allows users to trade on the spot, futures, and margin markets, manage individual portfolios, and access funds allocated to a specific sub-account.
  • Financial control: unique permissions and limits can be created for each sub-account, ensuring secure and separate management of funds. In addition, sub-accounts can be customized to suit the trader's needs by changing the access settings.
  • Optimization of trading strategies: Separating strategies or assets helps active traders track their performance in detail, makes risks more manageable, and helps them better adapt to market changes.
  • Instant transfers without commission: assets between sub-accounts are transferred immediately without additional costs, which simplifies the redistribution of funds within the structure.

How to create a subaccount for corporations?

  1. First of all, send a request and complete the KYB (Know Your Business) procedure — a verification that confirms the legitimacy of your company.
  2. After successful verification, go to the “Settings” section and select “Subaccount.”
  3. Enter a unique name for your subaccount.
  4. Set up the balance and allocate the appropriate funds for this subaccount.
  5. Done! Create as many subaccounts as your business needs.

Please note: The number of subaccounts depends on the type of user account. Institutional clients can create thousands of subaccounts, allowing them to effectively manage funds, organize team collaboration, and use different trading strategies within a single main account.
