The European crypto market is transitioning to the new MICA regulatory framework. In light of this, WhiteBIT is updating its card infrastructure and preparing to launch WhiteBIT Europe.
Therefore, from 1 July 2026, the WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card on whitebit.com will be suspended. The card will remain in your account, but you will not be able to carry out any transactions with it until WhiteBIT Europe launches, or after the transition period has ended.
This notice relates solely to the card. Cryptocurrency trading, fiat transactions and other services on whitebit.com continue to operate as normal.
In the future, WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card is expected to be migrated to WhiteBIT Europe after whitebit.eu is launched. To ensure the convenience of our users, we have created an alternative product – the WhiteBIT USD Card. You can learn more about this card in the article at the link.
What Will Change Starting July 1, 2026?
Starting July 1, 2026, WhiteBIT Nova Card on whitebit.com will shift to a suspended status until the launch of WhiteBIT Europe and the start of the relevant transition period. In your account interface, this may be displayed as Frozen or Suspended.
This means that:
- the card will remain in the account;
- the card account will not be closed;
- any operations with the card will become unavailable;
- the user will not be able to manually restore the card's operation on whitebit.com;
- further use of the card will be possible within WhiteBIT Europe after migration.
Why the Card's Operation Will Be Suspended
WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card is moving to the European WhiteBIT Europe environment. This is related to the entry into force of MiCA requirements and changes in servicing the card product.
After whitebit.eu is launched, users who meet the WhiteBIT Europe conditions will be able to complete the necessary steps and migrate WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card to the new environment.
How Migration to the WhiteBIT Europe Will Work
After WhiteBIT Europe is launched, the user will need to complete a registration and the relevant identity verification there.
Preliminary migration procedure:
- The user goes to WhiteBIT Europe.
- Completes the required identity verification.
- Upon successful verification, the option to transfer the WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card from whitebit.com to WhiteBIT Europe will become available.
- After migration, the card should disappear from whitebit.com and become available in WhiteBIT Europe.
It is planned to preserve the possibility of further use of already issued cards, including physical cards and current card numbers.
Grace Transition Period
After the launch of WhiteBIT Europe, a 6-month grace transition period is expected to commence.
During this period, the user will temporarily be able to resume using the card on the whitebit.com account. At the same time, before the transition period ends, the card must be migrated to WhiteBIT Europe if the user wants to continue using the WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card.
Please note: The grace transition period does not mean that WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card will continue to work on whitebit.com after July 1, 2026. Starting July 1, card operations on whitebit.com will be suspended, and the transition period is needed to migrate the account and card to WhiteBIT Europe.
The exact start date of the transition period depends on launching the WhiteBIT Europe platform. WhiteBIT will inform users separately about the date and procedure of the transition.
Who Will Be Able to Use WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card on WhiteBIT Europe?
WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card in WhiteBIT Europe will be available to citizens and residents of the European Economic Area (EEA).

After WhiteBIT Europe is launched, they will be able to continue the card application process in the new environment if they meet the access conditions.

If the user has already initiated a dispute, they do not need to do it again due to the card suspension.
What Will Happen to the Physical Card?

If the user ordered a physical WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card but has not received it yet, the final terms will be communicated separately after additional information about the launch of WhiteBIT Europe becomes available.
Does USD Card Replace Nova Card?
No. USD Card and WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card are different card products.
- WhiteBIT Nova EUR Card is a European card that is planned to be migrated to WhiteBIT Europe.
- USD Card is a new virtual card in US dollars for whitebit.com users. It will be available on whitebit.com for users from permitted countries after additional verification.
Users will be able to order the USD Card after the product launch if their country is supported and they successfully pass verification.
