As soon as a sender transfers funds, a transaction enters the network to be completed and included in a block. It is the process of adding the transaction to the structure of a found block, which is called the transaction confirmation. The transaction confirmation process is necessary to prevent the same funds from being spent more than once. One new subsequent block equals one confirmation.
Once your transaction reaches the minimum number of network confirmations, you can trade on the Spot Market and transfer funds from your Main Balance to your Trading Balance and vice versa.
Once your transaction reaches a sufficient number of confirmations, it receives the "successful" status and is credited to your balance, after which you can perform any actions: from trading to withdrawing funds.
On the "System Page", the "Confirmations" column specifies the number of network confirmations required to start trading on the Spot market. The "Confirmations for Withdrawal" column displays the number of confirmations required for full access to all cryptocurrency operations.
The confirmation process speed depends on various factors, such as network load, transfer fees, speed of your internet connection, etc. On average, it takes from 30 minutes to several hours for a transaction to be confirmed. However, sometimes it can take from 2 to 14 days if the network is overloaded.
Please note that the number of confirmations required for actual depositing of funds or trading is determined by every receiving platform individually, for each particular currency, according to its own security standards.
