VIP Program on WhiteBIT: Answers to Common Questions

In this article, we answer some of the most frequently asked questions about the VIP Program on WhiteBIT.

 

1. How to join the WhiteBIT VIP Program?

Once your account meets the requirements of any one of four criteria — Average Balance (monthly avg), Spot/Futures Volume (monthly), or Crypto Lending Fixed Plans (≥30 days) — you will automatically receive the corresponding VIP level and become a member of the program. 2. How do I qualify to become a VIP?

You can qualify through any one of four independent criteria: Average Balance (monthly avg), Spot/Futures Volume (monthly total), or Crypto Lending Fixed Plans (total USDT equivalent of active plans with duration ≥ 30 days). Meeting the threshold on any single criterion is enough — no combination required. 

 

3. How is my Spot/Futures Volume calculated?

Trading volume refers to the total value of all executed trades within a calendar month.

Spot volume is aggregated from Spot and Margin markets. 

Futures volume is aggregated from the Futures markets. 

Both include activity across Main and Sub-Accounts and Trading Bot activity. Additionally, trades executed through the WhiteBIT Convert feature are included in the spot trading volume calculation.

 

4. How is Average Balance determined?

It is calculated using random snapshots taken throughout the calendar month from your Main, Trade, Collateral balances and WBT Holding. These snapshots capture the USDT equivalent of all assets except those removed from the exchange or locked in Crypto Lending plans. These snapshots are divided by the total number of days in which they were taken to determine your monthly average balance.

 

5. How is Crypto Lending amount calculated? 

It is based on the total USDT equivalent of all your active Crypto Lending Fixed Plans with a duration of ≥ 30 days. The USDT rate is fixed at the moment each deposit was opened. 

 

6. When do you apply discounts? 

Discounts on Maker/Taker fees are applied automatically upon reaching a VIP level. Once any of the four criteria meets the threshold for the next level, the upgrade is applied within 24 hours — regardless of which criterion qualified.

 

7. What happens if my metrics drop below the required threshold?

For Spot/Futures Volume and Average Balance: on the 1st of each month the system checks the previous month's results. If below threshold, you keep your current level for the entire current month to recover. If still below on the 1st of the following month, your VIP level is downgraded at 01:00 UTC. 

For Crypto Lending: the downgrade is applied 48 hours after the total drops below the threshold — if not restored within that period.

 

8. Will I be downgraded if only one of my metrics drops? 

No. A downgrade is applied only when all four metrics fall below the threshold for your current level and all applicable grace periods have expired.

 

9. Which VIP level will be assigned if my criteria correspond to different levels?
You will be assigned the highest VIP level you qualify for across all four criteria.

 

10. What assets are taken into account for granting VIP Status?

All assets on the Main, Trade, and Collateral balances are considered in calculating the average balance and trading volume, except those removed from the exchange or currently used in the Crypto Lending plans. If an asset was delisted from the exchange during the month, then this asset will be used for calculation purposes up to the date of delisting.

 

11. How do I switch to the WhiteBIT VIP Program from another exchange? 

If you have an established VIP status on another exchange, you can transfer your VIP Level to WhiteBIT by following a straightforward verification process. You must complete the VIP application form with details about your trading volume on the other exchange.

 

Please note that only trading volume is taken into account when assigning a VIP level via transfer — Average Balance and Crypto Lending are not considered. 

 

Once submitted, our team will verify your information and assign you a corresponding VIP level on WhiteBIT. The transfer process is seamless, ensuring that you begin enjoying VIP benefits on WhiteBIT without delay. To maintain your VIP status, ensure that you meet the minimum requirements during the recalculation at the end of the calendar month.

 

12. How can I contact my personal manager? 

From Level 1 onwards, a Personal Assistance button is available on the VIP page. Clicking it opens a widget with your manager's contact details: Telegram, Email, WhatsApp, and a Calendly booking link.
