Swift response to market fluctuations is crucial in cryptocurrency trading. That’s why all WhiteBIT functionality is gathered in a mobile app so that you can trade efficiently with a simple yet powerful interface.
You can download the WhiteBIT app from the App Store, Google Play or as APK-file. You can find all the download links on this page.
In this article, we will review the functionality of the WhiteBIT application.
App Navigation
At the bottom of the screen, you will find 5 main tabs:
- Main – Overview and quick access.
- Markets – Prices and trading pairs on spot, margin and futures markets.
- Buy – Quick crypto purchases and convert.
- Trade – Trading interface (spot, margin, futures, bots).
- Wallet – Asset management.
Main Tab (Home Page)
The Main tab is your dashboard. It gives you a quick overview of your account and shortcuts to key features.
Main Account (top left corner)
Here you can find the information about your account:
- Membership (your VIP status)
- Nickname
- Verification
- KYB
- Sub-Accounts
- AML check
- Security (password change, your email, login history, etc.)
- API
- Access via USSD menu
Also, you can find the application settings:
- Language (here you can change the interface and communication language)
- Widget markets
- Customisation (color scheme, application icon, etc.)
- Notifications
- Your current leverage
- Support
- Juristic Documents (User agreements, AML policy, etc.)
- WhiteBIT info (the version of your app, fees, etc.)
- Delete account function
Total balance
Shows your full portfolio value in USDT (can be hidden by clicking on the eye icon).
Analytics
Next to Total balance, you can find the analytics icon. This is a key data page that provides detailed information about the status of your stock account, offering a user-friendly interface for efficient account management.
Using the WhiteBIT Analytics Panel, you can track balance status, PnL statistics, VIP program level, trading commissions, WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) holdings, referral earnings and much more.
Deposit
The deposit button redirects to the deposit page, where all the asset tickers available to deposit on our exchange. The tickers also have the number written on their right side, indicating the amount you already have on your balance.
History
It transfers you to your transaction history, where you view your deposit, withdrawal, transfer, earn, code, launchpad and mining rewards history. Furthermore, you can check your trade (orders, deals, converts), collateral and export history as well. This page can also be accessed from the Wallet tab.
WhiteBIT Products
All products and services offered by our exchange are displayed here. By tapping on it, you will be transferred to a product’s page, with a list of different functionalities you can try, such as:
- Trade: Convert, Spot, Margin, Futures, Markets, Competition, Multi-Limit, Bots.
- Earn: Launchpad, Auto-Invest, Crypto Lending, Referral, Affiliate.
- Finance: Nova Card, Borrow, QuickSend, WB Check, Codes, AML, P2P Express, Analytics, Buy Crypto.
- WBT: Boost, Buy WBT, Overview.

WB Ecosystem: Whitechain, white.market, WB Soul, Whitepay, DEX, WhiteEX, Mining Pool.
At the upper right corner, you can click on the “Edit” button in order to pin up to 4 features that will be displayed on the Main screen for quick access.
Markets Tab
This tab lets you browse, monitor and select trading pairs across different trading types.
In the section, you can:
- View real-time prices of cryptocurrencies.
- Track popular trading pairs.
- Add pairs to your favourites.
- Navigate between Spot, Margin and Futures markets.
At the top of the screen, you will find different market categories:
- Favourites – Displays only the trading pairs you have selected.
- Spot – Standard buying and selling of the assets.
- Margin – Trade with borrowed funds.

Futures – Trade contracts based on asset price movements.
By clicking on the search icon at the top of the page, you can find specific trading pairs.
Buy Tab
The Buy tab is used to purchase cryptocurrency with fiat funds or convert one asset into another. It contains two features at the top: Buy and Convert.
Buy
You can purchase cryptocurrency using national currency:
- Give – select the fiat currency and enter the amount to spend.
- Receive – select the cryptocurrency to be purchased and view the estimated amount.
- Pay with – choose a payment method (Apple Pay/Google Pay or Visa/Mastercard).

Buy button – proceed to complete with the purchase.

Convert
This feature allows you to exchange one currency for another:
- Give – select the asset to convert and enter the amount;
- Available/Max – shows the current balance and allows using the full amount;
- Receive – select the asset to get and view the estimated amount;
- Exchange rate – displays the current conversion rate;

Continue button – proceed with the conversion.

Trade Tab
The Trade tab is used for placing buy and sell orders on the exchange. It provides access to different trading modes and all necessary tools for executing trades.
At the top of the screen, you can switch between trading types:
- Spot
- Margin
- Futures
- Bots
At the top of the Spot, Margin and Futures sections, you can see the current trading pair and search for the market by tapping on it.
On the right, there are candles and three dots:
- Candlestick: For a detailed price analysis; the candlestick chart, order book, and transactions are displayed.

Three dots: Allows you to find out more about collateral weight and leverage terms. Here you can also contact support, get redirected to the Analytics page, adjust the view of open orders and positions, the terminal position(right or left), and choose the futures position mode (Settings button). Moreover, there is a short trading guide.
On the left side, the order book shows current buy and sell orders from other users, including prices and amounts.
On the right side, the order panel allows you to place an order.
Spot
- Buy/Sell switch – choose the operation.
- Order type – select a Market, Limit, Advanced Limit, Stop-Market, Stop-Limit or Multi-Limit.
- Estimated fee – displays the transaction fee.

Action button (e.g., “Buy USDT”) – place the order.
At the bottom, additional tabs provide trading information:
- Orders – active orders.
- Positions.
- Assets – available balances.

Information – fees, min. order amount, min. size increment, ping, trading rules.
Please note: in order to be able to trade on the Spot market, you need to keep your funds on the Trade balance.

Margin
The margin section allows trading with leverage using borrowed funds.
To open a position on the Margin Market via the app, follow the instructions:
- Select the leverage size on top of the screen (right side).
- Choose a trading pair. Check the balance. The funds must be on the Collateral Balance.
- Select "Buy" for Long and "Sell" for Short.
- Select the order type (Market, Limit, Advanced Market, Stop-market, Stop-limit, Multi-Limit, OCO).
- Define the position size by filling in the "Amount" or "Total" fields. Set TP/SL if necessary.
- Confirm by clicking the “Buy” or “Sell” button.
At the bottom, additional tabs provide trading information:
- Orders – Active orders;
- Positions – Active positions;
- Assets – Total collateral, Free collateral, Margin Fraction, Maintenance Margin Requirement;

Information – Fees, min. order amount, min. size increment, ping, trading rules.

Futures
The Futures section is designed for trading perpetual contracts with leverage.
This page looks similar to the Spot and Margin sections; however, there are some more indicators here:
- Funding rate – The percentage price difference between the Spot and Futures markets. This difference is used to calculate the charge for using leverage. Usually, funding is calculated every 8 hours, but this interval may change to a different one on each futures contract.

Countdown – Displays the time until the next funding payment.

Bots
The Bots feature allows automated trading strategies.
Spot Grid
At the top, you can choose a trading pair. Afterwards, you can choose the mode: AI Strategy or Manual.
AI Strategy:
- Investment Amount – the amount of funds allocated to the bot.
- Risk Level – defines how aggressive the strategy is (e.g., Conservative, Balanced, Aggressive).
- Reinvest Mode – can be switched on, lets the bot use earned profits to enhance its performance and returns.
- Potential ROI – estimated return based on historical data and the selected risk level (not guaranteed).

Duration – suggested runtime for the strategy.
Manual:
- Price Range (Lower Limit, Upper Limit) – Set the price range where the bot will place grid orders. Orders will not be placed outside of this range.
- Grid Quantity – Number of grid levels (orders) within the selected range.
- Profit per grid – estimated profit between buy and sell orders per grid accounted for fees, shown as a percentage.
- Invested Amount – Total amount allocated to the bot.

AI Smart Config (additional feature) – suggests optimised parameters based on market conditions.

Spot Martingale (DCA)
At the top, you can choose a trading pair. Afterwards, you can choose the mode: AI Strategy or Manual.
AI Strategy:
- Investment Amount – the amount of funds allocated to the bot.
- Risk Level – defines how aggressive the strategy is (e.g., Conservative, Balanced, Aggressive).
- Reinvest Mode – can be switched on, lets the bot use earned profits to enhance its performance and returns.
- Potential ROI – Estimated return based on historical data and the selected risk level (not guaranteed).

Duration – Suggested runtime for the strategy.
Manual:
- Take-Profit – The profit percentage at which the full position is sold. Calculated from the average entry price.
- Price steps – Percentage drop between each safety order. A lower value means closer orders, a higher value means wider spacing.
- Max safety orders – The maximum number of safety orders the bot can place during a cycle. More orders = wider price coverage.
- Initial Order – The amount used to place the first buy order. Determines your entry position.
- Safety Order – The amount for each additional buy (safety) order.

Investment – The total amount allocated to the bot, calculated as the sum of the initial order, plus all safety orders, adjusted by the amount multiplier.

Wallet Tab
The Wallet tab in the WhiteBIT application is where you can view and manage all your funds. Here you can:
1. See your total balance
The combined value of all your assets in USDT equivalent, with an option to hide/unhide it (the eye icon);
2. Switch between balances
- Total – the combined value of all your assets.
- Main – funds used for storage and withdrawals.
- Trade – funds available for spot trading. You can reach the Trading and Convert pages by clicking on the relevant icons here. Also, it is possible to convert small balances to WBT.
- Collateral – (assets used as collateral for margin, futures trading, or Crypto Borrow). You can reach the Trading and Crypto Borrow pages by clicking on the relevant icons here.
- Earn – (funds allocated to Crypto Lending). You can open a new Crypto Lending plan by clicking the “Open plan” option here.
3. See the list of available assets along with your balance for each.
There are some quick actions available on the Wallet tab:
- Deposit – Add funds to your account.
- P2P Express – Exchange USDT to UAH and vice versa.
- Transfer – Move funds between your balances (e.g., Main -> Trade).
- Withdraw – Send funds to an external wallet or bank account.

History – View your transaction history (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc.).
It is possible to customise this page by clicking on the filter icon next to “Available assets”:
- Hide zero – Hide the assets you do not have on your balance.
- Hide equivalents – Hide the USDT/BTC equivalent under each asset.
- Equivalents in BTC – The equivalent of each asset will be displayed in BTC instead of USDT.
- Hide Demo Tokens – The Demo Tokens will not be displayed.
